fat soup.

I just had the most oil-laden minced pork noodles in my entire life of sniffing-out-great-minced-pork-noodles. The complimentary soup ( I always order guotiao-dry-chilli) that came had floating bits of fried lard (!!) and beads of oil were shining up at me.

NOT GOOD.

Then came the noodles, and it had the most amt of varied pork cuts I've encountered. Minced pork, sliced pork, sliced liver, pork balls and a small piece of yummy dried fish. Never mind the meat. That's why it's called minced pork noodles right? But lo and behold! the noodles were drenched with chilli oil and even more bits of lard were scattered on top! eeps!!!!

The taste as ok - normal. No kick, no shiok-ness, nothing. normal, blah.
I felt quite sick as I managed to uncover even more lard pieces that were evenly scattered in the tangle of noodles.

Argh. I had to wash it all down with a slice of honeydew.
Now that, was YUM. :Þ
