eeks! - no, that's not the name of a book.

it's been so novelish that i've started to think like a novel "There she was, walking down the corridor, wondering what might greet her at the end of it. Then to her relief, she found what she was looking for. Sustenance to last the day. Despite the hunger pangs she suffered, and the comfort of her bed, she relished the leftovers and prefered to curl up in her bed, with her book of the week."
warau! that's like, i'm walking down the corridor, looking for food, cos i was too lazy to go downstairs to get some nosh. then to my delight! i found some stuff to eat, and continued to snuggle in my bed with my book.
and the novel stuff gets narrated in my mind even though i'm doing the most mundane stuff s.a. brushing my teeth "she was going through her daily routine, sleepyfaced in front of the mirror, she slowly brushed her teeth...", rummaging the fridge "her hunger pangs were more than she could bear, and she managed to settle with whatever she could find in the dark recesses of the dank fridge" u can just imagine the rest.. hahaha... *sian*

anyway, reading "the street lawyer" by john grisham is soo enlightening.. yes i think i sound like a bimbo now.. -_-" anyway it's basically a high flying lawyer set for greater success, when suddenly a 'life changing' incident makes him realise he needs a change in his life. i'm not gg into the details in case some of u wanna read it and i'm spoiling it for u.. so the point is, materiality is soo.. hmm prima facie.. hehe.. u can tell/psyche yourself that 'yah, i don't really need this, it's a want, not a need, so i dont have to waste money on it'.. so it's real easy to overcome what u want! i.e., see in the shopping mall, etc.. anyway, i have so many bags and clothes, and since i don't usually dress as nicely as i would want to, clothes and bags are necessarily a want. haha.. besides, i can't exactly spend as much as i want to.. so given the restraint, it's so much easier to not buy anything! hehe.. so yes, affordability and budget restraints are key.. :P hope it will still be the same when i get a tiny windfall soon.. :X

llalala, just came back from a wake, a christian one at mt. vernon, and met many relatives i've never met before.. dad's side, and his cousins.. waahah... my family is so scandalous... got one uncle, he's got 2 wives! woooo.. one malay and one chinese.. have no idea how he's juggling.. his logic "my dad had 2 wives, i want to be like my dad" 0_0... and another one, she's the founder of Elsie's kitchen! ooo.. it's a catering company and actually owns the foodcourt in temasek poly! ooooooo and she does loads of catering and stuff.. hahaha.. but one thing sad tho, it's the first case in singapore, where her husband threw their kids down, and he jumped soon after.. so sad.. :( leaving her behind... another was sooo pretty during her younger days, and in the words of pa "she had so many boyfriends, until she never marry" wahahahhahaha!!! aiyoh... i know i shouldn't be laughing, but the way he said it was so funny.. haha..another doctor auntie, with her doctor husband, a bit of snobbish air, and spoke to my grandma in english! aye, ur auntie leh.. how can u not know her at all...-_- anyway it was a small little reunion, so sad that funerals are the only times for this.. bet the next 'reunion' is a couple of years away..

my foot hurts like hell now.. sigh.. bloody heel.. any idea what's the condition/whatever, on the sole at the hell, in the bone, if u get what i mean. it's tender to walk on and i always have to sorta tiptoe.. dammit..
blah blah blah..ok lah i have to 'nurse' my headache already.. and if u know me, there's only one thing i'll do....

(norman and i whipped up dinner :) various mushrooms with chicken, bacon and asparagus rolls, sweet potato wedges, marinated fried fish, cabbage with fishbally paste thing, and before dinner, a yummilicious appetizer of rochor's tau huey and geylang's you tiao.. so sinful yet so yummy :D)

teeheehee.. this post celebrates 2 things, first, norman's safely back from east timor!! he got back on tuesday... *grin* and he took back with him a whole load of experience :D apparently all the people that went there 'changed' in the sense that they matured a lot from the one week there.. the photos will be uploaded another time, cos my camera's still with him.. and east timor is such a beautiful place! mountains, clear blue seas...fresh air... hee.. he'll be gg back next year, hope i can go with him too!

another thing is that i finally got down to making my earrings!! hehehe got a couple out now, simple ones cos i don't really have the skills and materials *sigh* to make ones that i've thought about.. materials are so ex!!! boohooo..
anyway these are a list of shops

2 - golden dragon #02-51 at PPC - despite the cheesy name, it's got lots of craft items, not just for jewellery, so be prepared to search. it's in a back alley, not along the common shopping corridor..

3- Hearten beads, B1 at PPC.. it's near the posb atm machine, so it's rather easy to spot.. some interesting swarovski and glass beads that the previous 2 don't sell

4 - bead shop at holland v. aka pls check out normal market prices before buying from here.. otherwise u'll end up paying a bit more..

5 - 109 Arab St, Kin Lee and Co or something. .haven't been there.. so i dunno what it's like.. near Golden Landmark i suppose and near Bugis Mrt Station

6 - bead shop at far east - where the freaking world is it??!?! aiyoh could'nt find it anywhere yesterday.. boohoooooo

7- shop at heeren.. it's near marche, basement, tools are damn ex, but not so sure about the beads, think they're slightly more expensive, but a whole load of VARIETY.. hahaha.. gg to check it out soon!

8 - well they have a website at beadsworkshop.com.sg and conduct some classes.. shop's at 42A Pagoda st, haven't been there tho.. hehehe

" and true enough, she came for dinner! we went to 'no signboard' seafood at geylang.. food was delish and really generous.. had this set for 288 for 10 pple.. :P anyway.. pa... aiyoh.. made mummy and i walk to 'see and experience' the nightlife. and there were throngs of people. how disgusting. even though it was only 2 streets, i was annoyed, disgusted and irritated to the core. and the darn taxi driver thought that mummy and i were sisters.. to be brought 'home' if u get what i mean.. dammit. he's an old man, ( the taxi driver.. almost 70) so i don't exactly blame him..... bah. whatever, just wanna get this outta my head...

what has happened for the past few days.
school!!!! dammit.. techno workshop, but i must say i've learnt quite a few things.. but there's still so much to be learnt. attendance was bad bad bad, just a handful of aki pple, say 20% that turned up??
well, pity the venue has to be in studio, and everybody has to stand to look what mr. architect has to draw with his montblanc pen.. wahahaha..

and norman's in east timor doing God's work.. hope he gains a good experience there.. *moo*
well, today Starbucks had this festive charity thingy, where u get a drink for *free, * cos it's up to you to donate to the salvation army.. hahha.. pretty fast service, and the drink was purty funny.. mien asked for a rumba frap, and i asked for a mocha frap. and each of us got a rumba mocha frap. -_-""" hahahah and the whipped cream was simply lopped off when we said that we didnt want whipped.. (there were remnants of the cream in the cup)

so anyway, before heading to Ailing's birthday party, we went to shop around in Tampines Mall.. and eeks!!! earrings!!! sigh.. saw one that was 26.90.. man, it was overpriced.. but so nice! heee.. i'm a sucker for big earrings *bling bling* but it tends to pull your ear hole and makes it look more like a slit rather than a hole.. so anyway i settled for a ring earring, erm.. sounds weird. aiyah just a ring earring lah! hehe.. 7.90.... sigh..
so anyway went to Ailing's birthday party at costa sands resort, and there were loads of people, luckily a huge bunch of aki pple.. haha.. but a pity the food was eaten up faster than it was cooked.. :P but the food was good anyway, and Ailing, being the good host offered everybody food once she could get her hands on it.. :P
so anyways, what's with guys! bah... Hang guen (korean exchange guy) was there, and he said " you look pretty" "thank you" " did you cut your hair?" " yah i did" " ahh you look better, just like you look pretty with makeup" 0_0"""" i dunno whether to laugh or to cry.. #_# "you should put makeup everyday" basket... "before that, no no no" (before that means before putting on makeup and wearing my doddy specs and before cutting my hair) warau!!

been playing bone: out from boneville, but i can't find the proper keygen! hehehe it's like an adventure game, where u choose what to say and what to do when u speak to characters, so your progress depends on what you do.. but everytime u try to download a crack or something, your antivirus tells you it's blocked something cos there's a potential virus or something.. boo..
and sigh, i think it's barely 2 weeks that i bought my 'replica' diesel watch.. i accidentally dropped the watch (just 20cm from the ground), it fell on it's face and the glass cover cracked and broke! picha! gone case! sobsob... now i dunno whether to get a replacement ($10) or to just forget it.. if i happen to drop it and it breaks again.. sigh

(the demo's just $35 - but i think it's a waste just to sit and stare for 2 hrs) either that, or there's a super short course at yishun from chain of beads for $55? well that's just 2 hours or so.. boohoohoo..
of course the megabucks course has materials, i think about $170 of materials.. i think they're pretty high grade.. aka EXPENSIVE!!! but i think it's a more substantial course.. anybody got any lobang?? heeheee...

and on wedesday night, norman and i went back to tj for band prac... alumni's gg to be in the fiesta concert! those who wanna go, it's the 16th dec, held in the school.. haha.. my gosh, first time of playing the horn after soooo long, 3 years i think, and i forgot how to read the score! and i sounded seriously retarded.. hahaha

and here's something nostalgic.. eh, norman?? hahahha.. who was the one who wore that stupid mask and charged straight at me during fright night!?!!?!? whoo?!?!?!?!
and i had such a major blue black on my bum after that man....... well, he does a good impersonation of a ghost, i really thought it was real at that time.. -_-""

yes, i'm back tracking... before i went back to tj, i went to watch harry potter with ju and mien!! and ju had to choose to the cineleisure..... stupid.. i was nervous to my wits while gg up the darn escalator..... anyway, after the pretty draggy show, but pretty fun show to watch, we went for a jap sushi buffet at suki sushi!! haha..


and of course the 'lil greedy me was seated next to the conveyor belt.... hyuk.. the food was delish!! we ordered so much sashimi, tempura, scallops, butter baked halfshell scallops, lots and lots of food!!! and i seriously overate.. urgh, had indigestion after that.. and i think i'm still suffering from it :P and mr president joined us too!! to the left is joot, and ming aka mr president.. hahaha.... yummy!!
