being a woman these days requires high maintenance. from your clothes, to your conduct, to what u eat, etc.. everything is more consciously considered, because all these will affect the way u look, the way u feel and the image u present to pple.
before i sound like im writing a thesis on being a woman / female / womyn for u feminists out there, lemme get to my topic and talk to u about hair.
yes hair. hair is so important to a woman and shares a love / hate relationship with the body.
where there needs to be hair, it needs to be lush and long or of appropriate thickness and length. where it's not supposed to be, aka societal norms, the hairless part of ur body must be as smooth as a baby's booty. dang bang it!!!
so. women resort to cutting, shaving, waxing, threading, plucking and all the various ways to get rid of hair / maintain it. and today, my topic is on plucking. owWW!! pain oww!!!
i just plucked what i felt like was 20% of my eyebrows and it's been 5 hours and area around my eyebrows still feel NUMB. why the hell was i plucking them??? cos they looked rather bushy from the lack of maintenance because of stupid submissions.
fyi.. plucking hair at different parts of the body produces different pain sensations.
for me.. the toes feel the MOST SENSITIVE. i break out in sweat and irritation everytime.
followed by the eyebrows - not as painful but the pain lasts longer.
and the armpits - the pain level feels therepeutic compared to the first 2.
and then come the legs. ahhh yes i wasnt born a leggy hairless ape.. and have to torture myself at waxing sessions or brave the unforgiving stares out in the streets because of my legs.
walau. i feel like im blogging to males. ANYWAY.. tmr i'll make an appt with Strip tmr.. egad!!!
i think it's been woahhhh like 9 bloody months since i've had my leg appts.. -_-"""
they'd better give me an experienced waxer tmr..
still thinking of a topic for lilian!!! eekazoidz!!!
