new home, secret hideout at amoy street

finally could get a day off from all the mess in school to see the man's new place yesterday..
they tried to get the balinese spa theme, but unfortch this means absolutely no clutter and everything is precisely arranged / controlled.
hehe, well u cant really expect non-family items considering it's not a new / newly-formed family :P

but it was a nice and cosy home, walls painted by the boys and dad, colours chosen by the man, great views since it's on the top floor.. the place was light and breezy, with the new wood furniture pieces.. it was great!~ hehe.. it was quite a luxury to see so much wood /teak furniture in one place. i felt.. envious!! haha.. and his mum was introducing the house to me.. haha well of course it's their pride and joy! :P and WOAHHHH i could see the CBD / city area from their window! *tho it's a small window* but nonetheless, wah!!! free fireworks liao~ the view was sightly reminscent of the view of melbourne from mt. dandenong.. like machiam gotham city..

this is the view from mt. dandenong

not long after watching a bit of spongebob, and shawn the sheep, we got down to tanjong pagar for dinner.. it was 9pm by the time we got there, partly cos of the stupid traffic and a little shopping diversion..
zi cha at amoy street hawker, the stall's on the second level and's called Le Tian *did i get this right dear?* this is about as much info as i can give u, any more questions and i'll carve ur skull and have ur brains for dessert.

so anyhow. we waited pretty damn long for our dinner.. and had rojak for appetiser, which also had mango in it! wow!! it was darn good too. it's 2 stalls down from letian. the best recommended dish was the chicken with spring onions. LITERALLY melt in your mouth. and got all of us shocked / in ecstasy *woah* and it was rather accidental cos the prawn paste chicken we wanted was OOS. (ok yah, i'm using online shopping jargon). oh i mean it was sold out. hahahaha. it left my brain for awhile. oh yah.. the jacket fish was damn good too~ it was fried but extremely tender :P so was the oyster omelette.. hehe.. fyi, oysters are my FAVE *meow* but bryan quickly gobbled it up. haha nm.. yup, so we had 6 dishes in all.. and 2 of them i couldnt eat cos one was crayfish and the other prawn.. -_-"""

ok i dunno how to end this post. seems rather abrupt. oh. and all that goodness for $54.. 6 pple, 6 dishes.. comes up to $9 each.. :) how they make money ah???

so aiyah ok lah. i'd better start cracking for research methodology 1. 2000 words. yuk. and i'm so bloody stressed over dissertation as well.. eek!!!!
