faith~

Tralalala~ I'm actually pretty uplifted today.
Second day since I've stopped working ( no more income, boo!) and that I've managed to pack a decent part of my room (there's still much more to go tho' :( )

Threw away loads of stuff and it was quite shiok to see so many things go. ( memories / things that are not worth keeping, throw!) Haha.. although N made me keep my old Time magazines. =_=
Oh well, it doesnt hurt to keep the man entertained with the possibility of selling the vintage magazines in like what, 30 years time?! *haha*

Anyhooo, I wanna talk about what happened last Sunday during church service. The SOZO team from Bethel Church, CA were our guests for the weekend and before they started to preach, they gathered ard each individual senior of the church and prayed for them.

My goodness, the Holy Spirit was sooo strong that Pastor Derek ( the head of COOS ) immediately fell to the ground. It was like a tornado that swept through the SOZO team and they started having physical reactions to the Holy Spirit that was burning in them.

That lasted for say 15mins or so, but it was the first time that I actually saw powerful faith and prayer.

Halfway through the service, Dawna de Silva ( the guest speaker) told those who needed to be healed to stand up. ( This was a healing service btw). And told those that were still sitting down, to go pray beside those who were standing.

It got weird for me at this point, and a lot of other people ard too. I was afraid because I hadn't prayed for anyone right in front of him / her, and also I didnt know what to say, etc. But I felt this super strong urge to pray for the lady across the aisle from where I was.

So I thought "Ok lah, I shall take this leap of faith ( which the guest speaker was telling us earlier) and just pray for her lah", after shitloads of procrastination.

I stood to her right, lay my hand on her shoulder and started to pray. A split second later, my tongue started to move like never before! I didnt know what I was saying, but my tongue was on FIRE and started to move on its own! I started praying for her in tongue and felt an immense joy that I was finally able to speak in tongue!! :D

I saw that her hand was placed on her abdomen / womb area, and I put my other hand on top of her hand. I dont know how long I prayed for her, but the prayee said she felt something :) I was pleased and amazed~

Prayer not only blesses the one being prayed for, but the one who prays as well. :o)

If you would be interested to listen to the sermon I went to, go to this link and look for the sermon "The Promises of Healing" on 30th March, 10.30am.

Later I found out that N had actually prayed for me to have a 'spritual improvement' ( ok he didnt say this, but the word just left me for the mo') before the healing prayers started. Whee! Thanks dear~

Later after the service, I found out that the prayee's name was Catherine. Woah! That's my mum's name too! Haha~

An abrupt end, but I'm off for some cuddle time with a new sheep I got from Barang Barang. hehe.. Till later!
