roBATS in the sky

huuhuuu.. today Norman surprised me that he could get off early from work today :P
so he suggested gg for a movie. in the end we went to gv marina, since the one at vivo was awfully packed (yes even with internet booking, 3 hours ahead of the show)

the show was due to start at 3.25pm, and we didnt have enough time for makan, so we ended up eating cup corn and popcorn and coke for lunch -_-""

oh yah. we watched TRANSFORMERS. hehe.

to me, at least it was a pretty darn good movie, even though i knew nuts about the 'robats' before the show. it was gripping - i literally gripped norman throughout the show, and touching, and i thought the special effects were pretty darn cool. except when the 'robats' transformed, due to the extreme speed at which the tiny little parts of the 'robats' were moving, it was rather difficult and blurry to catch it all in.

besides that, i could finally figure out why so many little boys and men were so mesmerised by the action figures, and why N would always look longingly at the Optimus Prime / Starscream action figures at the department stores or toy shops which we so often frequent. *hehe* Digressing, honestly i prefer the first generation of Transformers, the rather blockish pieces that looked more friendly and less imposing than the newly zhng-ed sharp-looking futuristic ones, that probably have far too many details in their works that could possibly fail to provide explanation to their existence.

so anyways, i'd give it 5 popcorns. :D
*clap clap clap*
the sound effects were damn good, accompanied by the freaking complex cgi. and even though i first entered the movie theatre feeling skeptical, but the show just blew me away. :D

now. where do i get myself one of those optimus prime figures??

hehe.. *meow*

oh anyway we later went to parkway parade for dinner.
after some cheap dimsum ($7 for 5 dishes!) and my sinful char kway teow that left me awfully fartulent, Norman brought me to a pet shop filled with cute pets!!

i went literally like this (o.0)

there were lionhead rabbits, lop, rex, local white rabbits, even local black ones that i've never seen before! the cutest thing was that the little white bunnies were cuddled in one corner and they were tiny little ones.. *awwww so cute*
there was also a tiny white hamster that only knew how to act cute. hahaha. and messy haired guniea (eh how to spell!!) pigs - that resembled N after he wakes up each morning.. hahaha

oh oh, and i saw 2 sets of bunnies that were nose to nose. hahaha. so sweet! oh and there were some other breed bunnies ( which i forgot the name of), grey and white banded, another was smoky, the other was grey-white-goldish mix, etc. ahhh!!! why must they be so cute!

the rex had lovely velvety fur, the lionhead was a puffy hyperactive ball of fur, the baby bunnies were just sleeping or resting around - acting cute is definitely second nature to them.

i kept looking at them over and over again.. so CUTE!!!! oh not to forget, there was a puppy shih-tzu in another cage. it was looking so forlorn and had such a sweet little face. *melts*

haiiiiiii. too bad it's all out of my reach. :(
