waiting...

goodness.. been waiting for more than 3 hours..system for bloody cors has been down for like ages.. and we have to bid for our modules (mods).. what the hell.. so annoying..
now they've extended the bidding period to 5 pm.. just a mere 2 hrs.. but it's still so slow!!
it's been rather hilarious looking at all my friend's msn nicks..

haha.. anyway yesterday Norman came over to cook a little lunch..it turned out very nicely.. haha we had brocolli and chicken panfried with oyster sauce.. yummy! and the remains of our salad from the day before, my sweet potato wedges.. yay! this time i bought the right sweet potato, not some quick oxidation jap potato. and oh oh! the star of the show was this recipie we saw on Jamie Oliver's show.. asparagus with crab meat sticks wrapped in a litlle bundle with bacon.. unfortunately the oven was down so we panfried it.. so yummy! it was sooo sweet from the crabmeat... yay!!! but in all the excitment i forgot to take pics of it.. haha.. oh well

and finally got my studio grouping.. and by the good grace of God and His mercy, i reckon i got rather good tutors! and studio mates as well! mien for one, is in the same studio again.. hhahaa.. this is our 3rd studio again.. and loads of dean's listers and what's not.. yongqi and keguang.. well considering that there's only 5 dean's listers in aki.. 2 is a lot right! @_@ sigh.. maybe i'll be able to learn from them...and yay!! got Tan Siew Lee as mah tutor.. yayyyy.. and she's in charge of the Tech. Dept... so yay!!!! yayyy!!!!

tadah!!! this is what we ate the day before the wonderful asparagus meal...
it's a salad - errr i forgot what lettuce, red cabbage, croutons which is just toasted bread, cherry tomatoes and!!!! yummy italian dressing..
all the way to the left is chicken!!! just cut to cubes.. ehheee.. and all the marinade was sesame oil! darling's a wizz i tell u..
so at the bottom right is the mushroom top shell dish we had.. oyster mushrooms and button mushrooms with top shell .. the taste was rather strong.. cos of the seafood.. but still very nice! we were damn full after that... heehee... best of all, we only used a tablespoon of oil.. cos there wasn't any left! amazing right and we used sesame oil to cook the mushrooms.. and we didn't have butter or magarine.. nor garlic.. nor onions......

this is the salmon meal we made before that mushroom and chicken and salad meal.. heehee
norman wanted to try out the salmon.. which was good i tell u! tho by the time we ate it was cold.. cos i don't exactly like salmon.. but it was nice.. flaky... and he put beer in it.. yumz...but Norman got the pot really black too.. haha
so the black stuff near the salmon looking like a tarantula's a mushroom concoction.. actually just button mushrooms.. cooked way too long in their own juices and too finely sliced by me to enjoy its texture...
the burnt looking banana thingy's the sweet potato wedges i tried to make! apparently i bought the wrong potatoes.. Jap ones i think and they oxidise in like 2 secs! warau..so disgusting man.. and the pan was too hot and most of it got chao tar.... and mummy spent an hour and a half trying to scrape the black bits off the next day :X

so yes.. these are our wonderful concotions.. there's more to come i hope!
