i've always had an unfailing love for crafts..
started with little projects in primary school like origami, cutting out pictures from newspapers and pasting them onto cardboard.. making loads of bookmarks, etc.

these things then just died along the way, partly because time didnt allow for it, compulsory art lessons slowly faded away and that well i guess life became a bit more complex than an innocent child crafting her time away..

till a few years back when i stumbled upon a few craft sites, now called indie (independent) design sites which sell their original works. mostly bags, jewellery, and my favourite.. plush!! well i do love bags too. hehe. partly cause i can carry them around. but who says u cant carry plush around either?!?
but these things dont come cheap, partly because u're paying for one-off designs and such stuff are also handmade *LOVES* hurhur. but i guess lemming for them makes it all the more fun~
though i havent bought from any site (because i'm a poor dirty beggar), i REALLY hope to in the future. like PRONTO!! heehe..
and indie designers REALLY make me wanna accomplish my dream (idealistic or not i do not know) of having my little shop~~ online i would think, and a few consignment items in some established brick-and-mortar shop. hurhur~~~~

but i guess what's holding me back is that i'm not sure how successful i'll be. well the obvious way to find out is to try. hahah. but got no time!! how??!?
that's why i feel like quitting school already. hurhurhur.

well just to share a little local site i found today that kept me glued to the screen for hours. hehe. even if it means just looking at all the creations ALL OVER AGAIN. hurhurhur..
and they started only recently in oct2006, but they sure are making good business and press!
