Ramblings of the other half.

Sorry for the lack of updates but it is that i am so busy with dive club stuff and church stuff heheh and school stuff but it is no excuse i know. anyway think i will update on the different "stuffs" one by one.

School Stuff
Basically school has been alot of shit work cos the readings are sky high but at least i know how to go straight for the jugular instead of waffling abt reading nonsense. But when an occasional interesting case comes along heheh i jus get tempted to read the nonsense. Got this UK case of R v. Brown where a group of S and M dudes got prosecuted. The things they do are unimaginable, think fishhooks through the male organ eeks. Then there is another case called Collins where this English drunk bloke decided to climb up a ladder and peek through the window of a house. Then this gurl inside thought that it was her bf and beckoned him in and then they made out. Halfway the gurl cried rape when she realised it was not her bf. Then wah lah guy gets done for rape. So the difficult issue was what is CONSENT? hehehe is it an "agreement", a thing or a function? Tutor says it is a function to enable someone to forgo or delegate certain rights but better not bother moomoo with such tedious details now.

Dive Stuff.
Yeah gng diving this weekend but the thought of warning people of jellyfishes jus ain't good. And i have bought a big bottle of sin sin vinegar jus in case people get stung, so if i run out of sin sin vinegar i would use NOrman pee pee. heheh. Poor Boon kiat i forsee him getting stung all over. Imagine DAvid got stung on his lips wah liew must be a lot of jelly fish. Anyway jus finished packing equipment yesterday and i think it is much better than last time already. At least now with a run in change over method, everyone gets to spread out the work load and gone are the days where me moomoo and beng bitch at each other but those days were fun. So anyway now i made it a requirement for every comm member that is gng for the trip to be there for the pool lesson at least it would foster some sense of unity before we go up for the trip. Now hopefully that george does not screw my trip up cos it is the first time i am trip ic heheeh. May it be a smooth virgin trip ic trip. hehehe.

Church Stuff
Yeah finally the nicest Stuff of all. Anyway really feel so blessed to be able to experience God so closely last sat. Cos i was suppose to lead praise and worship but then i barely got any idea wat to do and i did not know wat was the lesson that was gng to be taught. So i jus hum tum the bible and asked God to give me a Psalm as an inspiration and wah lah psalms 48. which says briefly that "Great is the Lord and most worthy of Praise, the City of our God the holy place, the joy of the whole earth..." Then that is one song already. and the chorus of that song goes " And Lord we want to lift your name on high. And Lord we want to Thank you for the works u've done in our lives and Lord we trust in your unfailing love. For you alone are God eternal, here on earth and heaven above." Then the next verse came Mattew 6 whereby Jesus said to Store your treasures in heaven where moth and rust cannot destroy... And where your treasure is your heart will be also." Pardon for the paraphasing cos i am writing all this off the cuff. Anyway the msg was put God's love that is in us into ACTION. That means having Compassion. Like the bible says in James that Faith without deeds is DEAD so we must put our faith into action. That is why i continually want to inspire myself to make a difference to the people around me. First stop, Edmund at least now i encouraged him to go for cell group and i have begin to see a change in him. He is reading books and newspaper more often and taking his studies more seriously. Really God does wonders and i believe He can do wonders for you dear. From you entries i can see God working in you making you more open to people around and making you a blessing to people around you too. Maybe u would feel helpless sometimes but i know he is making you a stronger person and also a more independent person. Be strong dear and continue to influence the people around you. Jus wanted to encourage you to press on and do your best.
