a generous dinner

ooooooooooo!!!!! had the famous char kway teow at queenstown for dinner just now... and norman was in the queue for 1 hour!!! 1 whole fricking hour!!! even though there was like ard 10 people in the queue..

cos the uncle's got an extremely HIGH qc.. if u order 4 plates, he'll cook 4 separate plates. wah!!!!! first he'll cook a small load of noodles, then one by one.. and it's not oily at all!!! he flips and flips the noodles till they're cooked, so the noodles dont stick to the wok as there's not much oil... *mmmmmm*

and guess what?? there was a LOAD of ham!!!! not english ham, but cockles!!!!!!
usually there'd be 8 or so right? but i counted 17 on the surface of the platE!!! only the surface leh!!!!

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's like one every small mouthful. and yes i was that bo liao to count them all.. hehehehe... it's $2.50 per plate only! and the ham was cooked just right. it was still crunchy, yet the bloody taste wasnt there.. yippy!! luckily the cockles were fresh and i didnt kena any diarrhea.. heehhe.. only wind from the garlic he used... eeeheheeee!!!!


today was my first day at youth service!! and man, there were a lot of songs!!! but luckily i knew all of them!! hehehe.. y do christian songs tend to be so high or low.. there's no middle key for people like me.. :P it was a great sermon! matthew 6:25-34 " do not worry" is a message for the year for me! ehehe.. norman prayed for me, and that was what the message was.. :) *beams*

youth service is really different from the normal sunday one, makes me feel like attending the youth one on a permanent basis even though it's rather different, but also more engaging.. maybe cos there's a higher energy level.. all the same, i really do want to get closer to God, and do His will :) hopefully to go East Timor with Norman when he goes again..yay! ok i gotta do up some posters again... i need inspiration!!!!!
