hello one and all.. it's been so long since i last blogged.. went on holidays to melb~ got my chatterbox deleted cos it bloody expired, been shopping shopping shopping and basically in a very holiday-cum-shopping mood
first things first..
MELBOURNE!!!
eheheheh.. yes i was there for 18 days.. to visit my 'sasa' hehe.. and was so busy working that i didn't even have time to plan the itinery, but it turned out well.. visited so many places and took like 1500 photos..0_O"" got so many things hahaha..
went to my first casino, CROWN.. i think crown would really go bankrupt if they depended on Bacarrat (is that how u spell it) cos the good ol' 'psychic' me, would choose either banker or player, and my friends (as introduced by sasa) would place their bets opposite to what i say! and they win! ahhh!!! and recently sa sms-ed me, asking me which bet to place.. and again...


they won. whoopee.. -_-
anyway oh no, don't even feel like typing my experience in melb, cos there's soo much, like don't know where to start, and when i talk about something, something else is in my head. bah. so i'll leave it at that. haha...
but basically i went to camberwell flea market (lovely stuff), mt dandenong, great ocean road, and TORQUAY.. too bad didn't have much time there.. who can forget Queen Victoria Market *music pls* shopping around various parts of melbourne.. st kilda's.. the art museum where they had the dutch renaissance painters!!!! it's not called the art museum but something else.. heehe.. also the Shrine of Remembrance, awfully stately place.. also called 'the Monument', and to many many people's homes like Edwin, Patdy, Howard.. and of course Louis' place! had many many yummy homecooked dinners... wahhhhh...*drool* went to university of melbourne, that's what a real uni should look like! not in No Use School...really has the vibes of the culture to wanna learn, hang out chill out, not getting hot and sweaty over the millions of stairs and precipitous slopes u have to climb each day..-_-.. nice pavements connecting the various faculties, some resemblence of fields or squares where pple can gather.. sigh..
also went to the La Trobe Reading Room in the State Library.. it's AMAZING.. like a scene out of harry potter.. haha.. got these classic old school green reading lights, wooden swivel chairs that actually fit your butt.. wonderful~~ but!! one cough, and the whole room knows your're there.. something to do about those dampeners aye?
anyway the sad thing about melbourne is that shops close at like 5.. if you're lucky 630.. and extremely lucky 9pm.. (thank you Meyer.. hee) not only that, there're lots of homeless pple around, u sort of know it when u see them, shaggy beards.. huge sweaters.. more often than not, they're on their mat, sitting down... and it's worse still that the weather's cold!! :( well some of them are selling magazines for au$4.. which is not a lot, since only $2 goes to them and i've seen the contents, not very consumer friendly, but like a report on world poverty, very much like a newspaper..
but basically pple there are very well paid, like a nurse as i saw on tv, gets paid like at least 3k a month? but everything in melb's ex.. food's generally like at least 7 bucks.. that sort of thing..



anyway back to s'pore.. what's up with sch kids nowadays! urgh! yesterday i just went to Tampines Mall for my earring checkup and getting some stuff and URGH! has anyone seen the mtv 'dont phunk with my heart' by black eyed peas and the hairstyle that Fergie has.. looks good on her right? got the say3 (sort of confidence) to carry it out.. but when u apply it to a school kid i say abt 14 yrs.. with absolutely frizzy adolescent hair, the look just goes out of the picture! esp!! esp!! esp whennn.. u know after a while like when u tie a nice ponytail and it strays a bit after a while.. YUCKS! so act cute. i nearly puked on that girl. eurhrrrrr *shudder* feel like mr bean trying to pretend vinegar tastes like wine..
anyway.. yes did my earring check, this time by a different salesgirl... i could have sued her man!!! she did something to test whether my earrings could be taken off.. and ouch! obviously means dun do that anymore right?! but nooooOOOO she continued doing it (like pulling my ear or something) and i nearly slapped her ahhh!!!!!!! haiyoh. hello, it's healing leh.. u think like what, dangling a rabbit by its ears ah.-_-
worse of all, i'm so fair already hor.. AND U STILL CAN MISTAKE ME FOR A MAT! damn u.. bah. i look like one meh? knn... pooi! ok if she mistakes me for one, not so bad.. she then gave me the attitude that 'OH NO! you're a MAT! oh no!!! the PlaguE hAs CoOOOme!! saAAVVE MEE!!!'

anyway i realised the earring fashion now is to have those like blobs on ur earlobes.. like half a marble on ur earlobe.. comes in solid colours and looks quite cute.. but ahem.. pls dun wear it and think you're so pretty hor.. it's quite repulsive leh...
hohumz.. norman's in hongkong now.. been sms-ing me all the nice CHEAP things that he sees there.. sigh.. I WANNA GO!!! just gimme a map of where the hotel is, and throw me into a shopping district/area and i won't bug u for the whole day!!!!!!! wah!!!!! k i think i sound like a bimbo. but nm...
