This shall be a post to give all glory to God for the things that He had done the past few weeks.
First up is my laptop. I had a problem with the charging port as it was loose and I cannot charge the battery of my laptop. Ie my laptop would be useless, but after praying aloud for the charging port, by a miracle, it started working again. That means that I dun need to spend money on replacing it. The NUS co-op quoted like 24o bucks for the replacement, while the Asia Pac Fujitsu coy quoted 124 bucks. All that money can be saved just because of God.
Second up is sat's children's church session. haha the projector did not work and I was feeling abit under the weather due to the scorching sun. But somehow, God gave me energy at the appropriate time. And when the projector did not work, I sang songs that the children could memorise and it was really a great time with God. Then as the holy spirit prompted the children to check their lives again and set themselves right before God, the expressions on their face were heavenly. Not only me but a few other teachers had tears in their eyes. God is really working in the children now, and I cannot wait to see what He will do next.
Third, during service yesterday, for the first time C experienced the joy of taking the leap of faith and praying for someone. That someone was so thankful to her that her face show a countenance full of joy and hope. God is really working wonders in the world today. Cannot wait to see what God will do next.

cupcake - the first knitted monkey on mt. kinabalu
Ok I've finally done it! :D
I wanted to do a post of Cupcake's adventures up Mt. Kinabalu, the 4th tallest mountain in South-east Asia, but the lack of time (being bogged down at work), a cranky laptop ( I finally got a brand spanking new desktop!) and loads of procrastination postponed this post by..aiyoh. 3 months 0_0""
We left before the crack of dawn (4.30am to be exact) and took a taxi ride to Senai Airport in Johor. Thereafter, we took our budget flight to Sabah, Malaysia and touched down at about 9-10am. It was another 2 hour long bus ride before we even got to the base of Mt. Kinabalu itself.
Well I guess the best way to tell Cupcake's adventures would be through Cupcake herself. hehe.
I was finally let out of C's bag after the long journey to Sabah. *whew!!* My fur was rather limp and dreary and I HAD to take a look see around Sabah's beautiful scenery~ So pardon the photo-whoring. :P
Behind me is the typical view you get in Sabah. Such lovely mountains and lush greenery. Love it!

I took a picture of N and C at the base of Mt. K. Look at the lovely scenery behind them! :D
I wanted sooo badly to be included in their shots, so I squeezed myself in between them.

I love it when that happens. *wink*

C uncremoniously stuck a sticker she got from the airport onto my nose. hrmph! So i decided to leave her, into the comforts of N's lap instead. I'm so sorry my furry little arm looks like it's wandered somewhere I shouldn't! It's just a PICTURE. *heehee*

The flowers there were so lovely I couldnt resist posing in front of C's camera. Aren't I such a photogenic monkey?
However, I was unfortunately stuck in the backpack for most of the hiking / climbing trip as it was not only raining, but the whole climb upwards was back-breaking, knee-trembling work and C wasn't in the greatest of moods to take any pictures of me. Boohoo!!
But the greatest joy was when C and N got up the Laban Ratan Resthouse ( 3000m above mean sea level ) and I was allowed to look around again. Wheeee!! I was a happy monkey!
The air was chilly (about 12deg C - not including wind chill / a bit of rain) and I LOVED it!
Although my fur did get rather damp and C had to hide me under her windbreaker. At 3000m high, I was literally on the clouds. heehee
But it soon got dark and C and N and I had to retire for the night, for the 2nd step of the gruelling climb up. They had to wake up at 2.00am!! Boy was I glad to be dozing away in N's bagpack.
As usual, I didnt let myself out because I didnt want to tumble down any steep rocky slopes and it was raining pretty badly. So I was a happy camper and bundled myself up nice and cosy while C and N froze and sweated (Ironic isnt it?) it out.
TADAH!!! The picture that's worth a thousand cups of tea and knitted muffins. Heehee
Poor C didnt have any energy left to take a proper picture of me, so N (her valiant knight in shining armour did it for her :P)
Say, this must be the first in the world!! Ever heard of a knitted monkey on the top of Mt. Kinabalu? I'm mighty proud of myself! Of course without the help of C and N, I wouldnt have made it either, so kudos to them both!
Although this picture scares me, but I think it best describes the situation up in the mountains. Poor C looking so much like a raggedy-ann!
Teeheehee, that sums up the highlight of the trip. I hope you all enjoyed it! :D
Here I am, cosying up in the lovely hotel room we got to afterwards, and playing (or rather posing) with a borrowed scarf from C's sister.
Alrighty! I have to leave you now. Hessie is calling me to join in her fun and games.. Till later!
:0)

Tioman Dive Trip

There is really hardly anytime to stop and blog nowadays when there are so many things to do. Hey but i did manage to go diving. hahaha the diving was good, the company was better, and the break from it all really theraptic. Here are the pictures of the trip that I took for C, and hopefully she likes the cute puffer being trapped into a corner by me. Actually, Tioman is not that a good dive site since it is over dived and it is the end of the monsoon season which means silty waters. But as usual Malang rock and Renggis did not disappoint. Turtle Checked, Cuttlefish Checked, Giant Moray Checked, Rays Checked, Schooling Barracudas Checked, Great Barracuda (Mother Big) Checked, Fat Puffer checked, and even got Spider crab and mantis shrimp. Then on land the bbq dinner was shiok, prata shiok, ice kacang refreshing and the tom yam soup is damn power. Not forgetting the Nestle ice creams and products that seem to taste better in Malaysia. Really Malaysia boleh lah. So where should my next dive be? hahaha Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Koh Ha, Puetero Gaulera, Sipadan, Lembeh? hahah the list goes on.
