yay... yesterday was the last day of work.. besides the obligation of giving chocs.. ferrero's at a discount from watsons.. haha.. it was a mad rush.. to try complete the pile of work.. by the word 'try' of course means i didn't really accomplish my goal.. haha.. but it was mad lah.. i did a record of like 338 entrys.. and my stupid goal was to finish the like 400 odd.. haha.. whatever.. and i saw such a HUGE stack of new things to do!!! i wonder how they're gg to cope.. anyway.. priscillia talked to me for the first time, altho it's been 2 weeks she sat across me.. haha.. she's like a 50 year old lady btw.. and she talked to me abt.
her nephew's dog. -_- i mean ok lah.. make small talk, but so weird talking abt ur nephew's dog and wat it does. goodness. but cute dog tho.. haha.. so anyway.. lots of 'take cares' and stuff like that.. 'thanks for ur chocs!' hahah.. whatever.. must pack and pack and pack now!!!! now now now!!!! k gtg go..

a new point in my life!! but.... not yet. heh
hello everyone, i have an announcement to make.
I HAVE GROWN AN EXTRA NOSE.
hahahah!! k no lah.. actually.. it's just that i have decided to get my ears pierced!!! yes!! at an extremely ripe old age of 20!! haha.. anyway i had been contemplating about getting my ears pierced since i was like 10.. till i saw my sis getting hers done, and i was tormented i tell u. *puke* so anyway, recently been window shopping online and i chanced upon rachelandjudith.com. they have handmade earrings, and are pretty cheap too (tho i have never bought earrings). so anyway, i came upon this one called 'Black Magic' where it's a simple black piece, something i know dear would love.. (haha.. u must be wondering y not me?) and i also tot that it would go well with long hair, and my specs.. hehe..
so that sparked the topic of getting my ears pierced.
so y haven't i gotten my ears pierceD?
reason no. 1: read the above.
reason no. 2: i figured that if pple were meant to wear earrings, we would have been born with little holes for earrings to fit! haha.. silly little theory, but then, humans are born sados and masos. so. u get the meaning.
reason no. 3: yes, i do have eczema in my poor ears since the tender age of 8.. yes, so non-euphemetically, it's an ear infection. chronic. ok? so i don't really know whether it'll spread or something. @_@. bleargh.
reason no. 4: i have lovely earlobes and i'm rather hesitant to vilify them. darn.
anyway, since (as usual) i blame everything for anything, and not myself, no lah. today i will not blame. hehee.. just on myself, basically curiousity, vanity, and mebbe the pleasure of pleasing a loved one.. bah. yes sweetums?
so yes, i have FINALLY decided to pierce my silly little ears, at this place at Wisma Atria, near Famous Amos, saw them doing their work and they were rather pro. will prob get a black studded starter earrings, of course to match my specs! hehe.. yay!

finally got my portable hdd!!
rarrrrrr... yay.. finally went to the pc fair at expo hall six.. muahahah.. and as expected, it was damnnnnnnnnnnnnn packed lah... i couldn't breathe properly... and then.. the whole floor was littered with phamplets and what nots.. haiyoh.. and it's like so damn squeezy lah.. that i felt so violated (altho nothing happened) and walked with my arms pressed to me chest.. hahah
what else do u expect on a saturday.. so.. anyway, was looking out for stuff.. like
1) zen micro and neeon for sasa.. cos apparently neeon is so new, no one out of singapore knows it or something.. so yes.. they were abt the same and i HAD to get the details.. cos there's like a 70 bucks gap.
2) Portable HDD (hard disk drive) for myself, all the watsitnot i need .. backup all my precious data, after hearing all the scary stories of computer crashes and stuff like that.. soooo later then i elaborate..
3) sony camera for mr joot.. warau.. but that was easy lah.. haha.. just a sony digicam from the sony booth. wutelse. except for the jostling..
soo.. i was at the expo all by myself, took a train to the expo.. and the station reminded me of calatrava's curves with ando's hard concrete. pretty scary cum futuristic cum ominous to me.. warau.. like damn sci-fi lah. anyway....
so i realised that this time round, they don't give u phamplets like their lives depended on that, just when u look at them, and mebbe they'll give u.. haha.. so yes, anyway mebbe they were appalled by the no. of brouchures on the ground.. so yes.. save the earth!
so anyway, u can't MOVE at all, unless u push ur way thru, cos some pple.. i tell u.. are like blockheads.. more like blockbodies.. nm.. they dun dare move! like for heaven's sake! u spend 2-3 mins standing there, trying to *think* that the flow will ebb soon, so u can move somehow, but no lah! that is not in ur freaking mind gg to happen! if u gotta move, u gotta take initiative! haiyoh
so irritating.
anyway, so i was looking ard, collecting phamplets stuff like that.. asking what's the diff, waht spec.s.. luckily i was alone, then can squirm my way thru.. hehe..
so... nice pple out there.. hehe.. tell me thingss abt hdd and mp3 players.. aiyah. but just to sell their products right. so anyweay, hdd out there.. such a rarity, tho i found one like $70 cheaper, but it was just on paper, i couldn't even find the bloody sample nor talk to the pple.. so the 'Ranger' guy was so kind to spend like 10 mins talking to me, tho' proxemics weren't working in my favour.. ( i dun like talking to pple so close, esp when ur eyes are dau liap) but ok lah, at least the guy quite cute.. hehe.. and he called me a miss and not mam! yay! hate being called so old when i'm not that old. warau. .so anyway, Norman dear, dun xiang3 wai1 i have my eyes on nobody but u~~~
so anyway.. decided to look ard before buying it.. yah.. so after like 30 mins of jostling ( i could get to the booth in. a few seconds if the whole place was empty.. yah. so. yes.. being a nice customer so that he can get commision, went back to the guy.. and bot it! a 60gb white hdd!! heeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee actually was looking at it for quite long.. yarh.. so.. the price (to me) was reasonable.. so yah lor. hehehe
k so the moral of the story is, if u want to sell ur things, make sure pple can get to them in the first place, otherwise.. pple will just settle for something else..
and another thing related to aki.. wei! pc fair leh! make bigger booths so pple can spread out for the same product and make the aisles bigger lah! no blain one leh.. no blain.. and come on lah. creative. u put up a stage for ur prodigkeys thingy, so obviously that place is hot.. as in a lot of pple.. push ur stage furthur back lah! warau. put it right to the boundary of the aisle. knn.

coldplay!!!
yay!!!!! i got the Coldplay cd!!! tried calling in again and i won!!!!!!!!
it was kinda unexpected, cos i tot that i might be one of the 'oh, you're number blah."
but yay!!! this time round, didn't hear the 'pls be caller number so and so' just 'pls call'
and lucky thing gerald asked me to call, cos my batt died and was listening to internet radio aka super laggy... so tried for a while and woo!!!! it started ringing!!!!!!!!!! and dj got answer also!!!! wahh!!!! i soo happieee.. like trembled with excitment!!!! hahahah!!!1 and my voice was shaking, altho not so obvious when i went on air... hehehehehehehe

so, because i am a kind person (haha) i bought mr gerald a yakitori, altho i had pennies with me.. haha.. burnt my pocket with derek's present today ok!!! muji fountain pen and its refill.. tho it's ok price, but .. i very broke leh.. *read yesterday's blog*
k so went to derek's place, at some ulu part of sengkang, anchorvale there, and was soooo lonely lah. i knew no one there and his relatives were looking at me. @_@. darn. so anyway i tried to occupy myself with the tv, tho it was some sappy korean drama and i couldn't hear the tv at all. damit. "suBtiTles" *personal joke* i couldn't read, cos all fan2 ti3.. .... hai...
made small talk with his sec sch frens after we were introduced, but still... sighhhhh
den ...45 super long mins later, then came everybody. like all pakat ok. let's come at 7.15!!! hahaha.. yah.. budden so funny.. so long never see each other like also dun really know what to say.. cos basically, i don't like parties.. like 'haha, hello, what u doing, study what? wah! issit tough??" blah......and of course mr birthday boi had to go ard, jumping from sec sch frens, to army frens, to pri sch frens, to bandmates, to blah blah.. *hoppity hop*

part tooooo
okok.. i know i just posted something.. budden.. u know how it's like when there's a sale but the discounted items are still like 'might as well not discount lor' cos it's so friggin ex?!?!!?
yah. so today i went to muji.. bugis, to get norman the ink for his fountain pen.. got a shock cos it was so cheap for 2 at 1.60.. haha..
so anyway, yes i typically love muji stuff, clean lines, wonderful fabrics, earthy colours and tones, nothing to ostentatious ...
except
for its price!!!

yah. since my blog title is lamentations, so i am lamenting.. only looking forward to its notebook organiser that i am contemplating to get, but it's 10.90, but with pages inbetween so i can doodle, and only the 'monday.. ... sunday is printed' so it's flexi.. hahahah
and of course, derek's birthday present... tho i said i wanted to get large pack condoms and a g-string.. but see i so guai right! muji summore leh! hahah.. happy 21st!

1 - because i dress like an adult, and pple think i'm 20+, so they gimme more respect, esp nasty sales girls. so therefore i got tendency to look at things and scrutinise and act like i 'can buy and sell the place so kiss it'. <- madamoiselle morissette
2 - i like to act like a tai tai.. therefore, i always carry my bag like *duh* a tai tai, u know near the elbow on the arm.. muahaha.. so i think i very got 'say' ahaha.. no link..
3 - i walk with my head held high. yah i know. but it's unconscious. so therefore to my tai tai theory, i think i got class and therefore loaded with ka-ching! to spend and spend and spend
4 - since i earn a salary, yah lah only a bit lah, i think "yay! my OWN money! my OWN thing! yay" very shiok to 'reap the froots of ur labour' u know..
so. anyway wutever! ahahahahahha i just love looking ard at things.. got any job related to that not? so i know what to do with my future. maybe be a personal shopper? hahahah
